NOTE that auditions is a different day on May 19th Sunday! Must register for both separately!

Open House Rehearsal:

April 30th, Tuesday

8.30pm - 10.30pm

North Carolina Dance Institute, 5910 Duraleigh Rd #101, Raleigh, NC 27612

— Please wear athletic attire, no jeans

— Please bring yoga mat if you have it

— Dance shoes preferred, socks or dance shoes, no street shoes in the studio, you will be asked to remove sneakers.

— High heels (Latin dance shoes) for follows will HAVE to have dance heel caps to protect the dance floor.

Note that due to potential various levels of participants, we might ask you to observe certain partner work training for everyone's safety.

Audition Information For Participants

 

    • Sunday, May 19

    • 1.30pm - 3.30pm

    • North Carolina Dance Institute, 5910 Duraleigh Rd #101, Raleigh, NC 27612

    • Arrive ON TIME

    Must register before attending auditions.

    • Participants will learn and perform a short solo & partner choreography(if needed ) at audition. (Salsa on2)

    • All dance backgroud welcomed.

    • Participants must wear athletic/dance gear [no jeans]

    • Dance shoes are not required however preferred if possible.

    • Participants will be notified of results within a week.

    • Rehearsal schedule & team logistics will be covered at team orientation should participant be selected.

    • Arrive on time, be kind & dance your heart out!

    • Our team constitutes of adult dancers that range from trainee/beginner level to professional level.

    • The student team performs locally with national or international travel opportunities. (Local area constitute of driving distance cities, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel-Hill, North Carolina Cities, DMV — Washington DC, Virginia and or Maryland)

    • All dancers train partner & solo choreographies.

    • Professional & or semi-pro dancers are also welcomed with different stipulations than student members.

    • All team members rehearse Tuesday evenings. Pending dancer levels, each dancer might be assigned to Friday evening rehearsals.

    • Specific rehearsal schedule will be covered at team orientation meeting after the auditions should dancer be selected.
