Technique & Foundation

The company focuses on building complete & strong dancers, and strives nothing less than perfection. By emphasizing on technique, musical connection, movement quality, dancers’ longevity & building choreography repertoire, the company is able to nurture dancers to thrive in latin dance genres and more. CBDC uses salsa, afro-cuban, ballet, contemporary, jazz, acrobatics, and more in our daily coaching methods. CBDC’s instructors are well versed and trained in many genres by masters of their crafts, the company also hosts & employs professional, renowned instructors from other areas of expertise to best develop our dancers.

Alumni Dancers

Many local dancers, instructors have trained, and or danced with CBDC. Some of previous CBDC dancers have then formed their own dance company locally. Several of our alumni are currently pursuing their professional and or semi-professional dance career: Isabel Freiberger in NYC who have starred in theatre productions, founded her world dance project & dance company in NYC; Lulu Diaz who founded her company here in NC; Jeb Catt in NYC dancing with Yamulee Dance Company and many more. We are proud of our alumni and their achievements.
